Day 64 of 365: 1 year SEO mission to double traffic (video transcript)

Let’s go! Day 64 of the growth mission where I have to double our organic traffic in one year. And how’s it going? I’m going to show you right away and what I’m working on. Some really serious work here.

Let’s see. All right, so January is over and now February is also over. But we actually lost traffic in February.

But February is a shorter month so I think we’re not gaining anything. We’re standing still and this is normal because I’ve only been working on our SEO for roughly four weeks. On the trial signups it looks very differently.

I’ve been working hard on some content that is bringing in a lot of trials so the focus is really on what brings the money. So together with some luck I think it’s safe to say we had a very good start because the goal is 500 and we’re now at 369 versus the 260. This is the plan.

So I mentioned in an earlier video but just very quick. We want to update our old content. Schema update.

It’s very old. We need to look into that. And we want to translate to more languages which is something we’re also going to use a lot of automation for.

And then these ones where there is an hourglass is where I’m currently working on it. So link building is actually where I started. And let me just show you a little clip of me doing actual link building.

Let’s go. Link building is always something we put aside because it feels less important but it’s actually the most important part of SEO in my opinion. And there’s a lot more to do and there’s also a lot of people where I reached out where so far it didn’t you know nothing came from it.
