Google love fresh and up to date content. So does your potential customers.
So this is what I do every January:
1. Google my own company name
Here I am the mercy of the internet and Google. But actually we often control what appears more than we think.
Almost everything you see on this picture has been chosen by me (except the YouTube videos, but I can also fix that by getting more top reviewers to upload new videos!)
So here the task is to take ownership of the first page of results and make a plan for how you influence the things you do not want to see there.
In my case it is to get more up to date YouTube review videos to appear, so I will reach out to everyone who made a review and ask if they would consider making a fresh one. Or otherwise persuade them 😉

2. Google my website like this: site:example.com
So in my case it would be site:morningscore.io and then I look through at least the first 100 results (10 pages on Google) and see if I can find any outdated pages just by looking through their title and meta descriptions displayed on Google.
Here the goal is strictly to find outdated content. And I never had a year without at least 2-3 really embarrassing findings. So I really recommend you do this every January too, or more often if you can find the time.
