ClickCease 10-Day GEO Diary: One Guy's Quest for ChatGPT Visibility

    Blog

GEO diary – Follow 10 days in the life of a guy trying to get more ChatGPT visibility 🤠

Below is a diary from Summer 2025 where I worked hard on GEO and shared what I did here.

    January 2026 update

The results are in now. In the first many months I actually considered this work a failure since not much moved. But 4-5 months later it really kicked off. I can see we now rank super well in AI, and in many cases I can prove it was because of the work I did (landing pages built used as a source for example). But it could just as well just have been ChatGPT algorithm/model changes:

And in our website analytics tool we also saw strong growth:

Now back to the actual diary:

Dear diary, I have spend 10 days in the muddy trenches battling to get our brand on ChatGPT

Day 1: Reddit comments and posts

Today was all about injecting our brand in a fair and natural way on Reddit. Lots to do, lots to gain. I think I made 30 total submissions between comments and posts.

And then I had to try to figure out what to do about these thieves 😑

    Day 2 – 5: Creating 25 articles

This was a 3-day grind. My fingers hurt a bit at the end, but I of course also used cool tactics to get as productive as possible.

Day 6-7: Trying to get more reviews from customers

I never managed to claim our G2 and Capterra account. Horrible experience honestly. But I sent an email to our customers, and they already gave us a combined 20+ new reviews, so that’s just super awesome. Very grateful 🥳

Day 8: Setting up tracking + Scheduling 7 Linkedin posts

I set up all the prompts I wanted to rank for and was thrilled to see one of them already had started ranking based on one of the new posts I did! 🎉

And I scheduled 7 posts around GEO. Sorry LinkedIn, if you feel like it’s too much, but I tried to do helpful content!

Day 9: Pretty much just doing SEO at this point because I lost track of the difference 😅

No video here, but I focused on SEO API landing page and a lot of smaller fixes and updates on other pages. So a solid day of SEO. Meanwhile Lukas landed us a link in Search Engine Journal 🔥

Day 10: 2 weeks vacation to get some rest and let results bake in the oven (hopefully)

Today I had to catch up on a lot af administrative tasks before heading off for vacation.

But I managed to put this little post together before I left.

The goal was to document my 10 days GEO journey with you and hopefully inspire you to also go on a 10 days journey for your brand 😎
