Do you want more information related to our CPC metric?
In that case we have compiled a list of some of the most commonly asked questions below:

We get our CPC data directly from Google. Google ad spaces are sold via auctions, which determines the click-price of Google ads PPC (Pay Per Click) payment model. These auctions are publicly available, so because of that, we are able to get the data directly from Google.

CPC can help you by informing you about the demand for paid advertisements on different keywords, as this is ultimately what drives the click price for the different keywords.

This means that a high CPC can  indicate which keywords have a lot of potential value, as they are very sought after by companies, making them lucrative opportunities.

A high CPC can however also show indicate that a keyword has a fierce competition, meaning it will be very hard to break into the market.

Because of this it is always important to make sure that you take the whole context into account, when deciding which keyword to target, as there are many other pieces of information in Morningscore, that can help you make a good choice.

In the long run SEO is often much cheaper than Google Ads. While Google Ads can give you better results in the short run, you will have to keep paying a recurring cost for your ad space. Meanwhile SEO often involves improving your page directly or indirectly, which can continue to pay off even long after optimizing the page.

A lot of SEO work is also cheaper in general, and if you have the know-how you can even do it yourself. You can check your Morningscore in our tool, which is a representation of how much your SEO-work is equivalent to with Google Ads.

You can find the Cost Per Click value of keywords you don't rank for yet by accessing the "Keyword research" tab under "Keywords" section of Morningscore.

Here you can enter a keyword and choose which country you want to see data for. This will give you a list of related keywords, which you can see data for. This data includes the keyword's CPC.

Our CPC metric is decided by looking at Google Ads PPC (Pay Per Click) prices for their ad spaces. The prices for these ad spaces are to a certain degree decided by Google themselves, but they are sold via. an auction system, which means the prices are also decided by the demand for ads on a specific keyword. This means that the CPC we show in our tool is largely represented by how high the competition for a certain keyword is.

The frequency at which the data for a keyword's CPC updates depends on if you have the keyword tracked or not.

You have a certain amount of keywords you can track at a time. The keywords you have chosen to track are updated every day, while your other keywords are updated once a month.

The amount of keywords you can track depends on which package of Morningscore you have, as each one comes with a different amount of trackable keywords.

Yes you can. Morningscore has an option to export your keyword and CPC data. You can do this by scrolling down until you see a button on the left side of the screen saying "Export as CSV". Clicking this will allow you to export the data from Morningscore.
