Fyns Kran Udstyr is one of our oldest customers, having been with us since the beginning of Morningscore. Their Morningscore metric has consistently increased, which made it particularly interesting for us to visit Nikolaj, the Marketing Manager, and learn more about Fyns Kran Udstyr’s success story.

Fyns Kran Udstyr is a leading provider of lifting equipment in Denmark. The company is offering over 10,000 lifting gear products for the industrial, marine, and offshore sectors, serving customers all over the world. Nikolaj Lolk Fuglsang has been working at Fyns Kran Udstyr for 10 years, which was also his first ‘real’ job after he completed his education. When he first heard about Morningscore back in 2018, he was curious to try out a new tool for search engine optimization developed in Denmark.

Nikolaj is self-taught in SEO and has shown a natural interest in the field ever since he started reading about it in books. Being the Marketing Manager of a customer-centric company means juggling multiple responsibilities, and Nikolaj appreciates the tools that enable him to focus on what’s most important for Fyns Kran Udstyr.

For Fyns Kran Udstyr, SEO is a valuable component of their broader marketing strategy, aimed at enhancing online visibility. Nikolaj particularly likes Morningscore for its straightforward overview, which clearly shows the company’s current position in Google rankings.

From time to time, the company uses an agency to help them, among other things, define their SEO strategy. They use the advice as guidance and then perform the actual SEO work themselves. Every morning, Nikolaj checks the overview of the competitors and all the keywords for which they are ranking.

Busy days with SEO in relation to site migration

Fyns Kran Udstyr has recently changed its e-commerce platform, prompting Nikolaj to actively utilize the ‘Health Scan’ feature of Morningscore to check for broken links and other site ‘health issues’ following this migration. Looking ahead, they plan to continue using Morningscore for years to come.
